Some of Wisconsin’s cryptids are more famous than others. But for every Beast of Bray Road or Rock Lake Terror there’s a slew of stranger, lesser-known creatures terrorizing the state. In Mauston, for example, there’s a giant bird with a human body covered in big yellow feathers. In Steinthal, a monster with one (or three?) glowing eyes used to stalk an abandoned farm. And, in true Wisconsin fashion, We even have a drunken Yeti!
Dig into the bizarre legends of 7 obscure Wisconsin cryptids.
