Over the years, the Hilton Garden Inn has gained a reputation as one of the most haunted hotels in Milwaukee, with strange noises, doors swinging open and closed on their own, guests getting their pulled by unseen forces, and more unexplained phenomena.

It probably has something to do with the horrific hotel fire that took 90 lives on that very spot more than 140 years ago.

After months of torment by a evil entity seemingly connected to the kids’ recently purchased second hand bunk bed, the Tallmann family fled their home in the middle of the cold, dark night of January 11, 1988 and never looked back.

But that was just the beginning of the weirdness on quiet Larabee Street as rumors of the Devil in Horicon gripped the community and brought curious visitors (plus one drunken exorcist) in droves to the small town.
